Crafted to last, Swiss Diamond cookware is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects. Simply follow the recommended Use & Care Instructions, and if a qualifying defect is found, we'll repair or replace your cookware. Normal wear, misuse, overheating, and accidental damage are not covered.

Is the CHD DOU Ceramic coating PFAS-free?

Yes. The CHD DOU Ceramic coating is a dual-layer, diamond-infused ceramic nonstick made without PTFE and without PFAS (including PFOA). It is Swiss Diamond's PFAS-free alternative to our diamond-reinforced XD and HD lines.

Does every piece in this set work on induction cooktops?

No. The CHD line is designed for non-induction cooktops: gas, electric, and ceramic. If you cook on induction, choose the CXD DOU Ceramic line, which uses the same PFAS-free coating with an induction-ready base.

Do I need oil when cooking with ceramic nonstick?

You can cook with little or no oil. A small amount of oil or butter adds flavor and helps any ceramic nonstick last longer. Use low to medium heat and avoid aerosol cooking sprays, which build up on the surface.

How should I clean it?

Hand washing with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge is recommended to preserve the ceramic nonstick surface. Let the pan cool before washing and avoid abrasive pads.

What is the difference between CHD and the XD+ line?

XD+ uses a diamond-reinforced, PTFE-based nonstick coating (PFOA-free). CHD uses the DOU Ceramic coating, which is PTFE-free and PFAS-free, and is made for non-induction cooktops.

Is Swiss Diamond cookware really made in Switzerland?

Yes. Every Swiss Diamond pan is made in Switzerland at our facility in Sierre, where we have manufactured since 1974 and have never outsourced production. The cast aluminum body is pressure-cast from 100% recycled aluminum.
